01 / PRE-FLIGHT

Direct the shot before you spend the render.

Turn a loose Veo 3.1 idea into a testable production prompt. The checker looks for the prompt dimensions in Google’s Veo guidance, then assembles only the details you supply.

SHOT INPUT

Build the direction

The main person, object, creature, or focal point.
Use one clear, observable movement.
Place, time, weather, background, and spatial relationship.
Say “silent” or “no audio” when silence is intentional.
Include speaker and exact words, or leave blank.
List unwanted elements directly; avoid instructions such as “no” or “don’t.” This remains guidance, not a guarantee.

Subject and action are required.

02 / METHOD

One concrete choice per dimension.

  1. 01
    Anchor the subject and action.

State what viewers see and the single movement that drives the shot.

  2. 02
    Direct the camera.

Name framing, lens feel, angle, and movement instead of stacking vague cinematic adjectives.

  3. 03
    Separate sound from picture.

Describe ambience, effects, music, and spoken words explicitly so they can be reviewed independently.

  4. 04
    Plan a controlled test.

Change one direction between renders. A complete prompt can still need iteration.

Veo prompt check FAQ

Does this tool generate a Veo video?

No. It only checks and structures text in your browser. It sends nothing to Google and consumes no model credits.

Does a high completeness score guarantee a good video?

No. The score only reports whether common direction dimensions are present. Model behavior, source images, settings, safety rules, and iteration still affect the result.

Should every prompt include dialogue?

No. Dialogue is optional. If the shot should be silent or have no spoken words, make that choice explicit in the audio direction.

Where do the check dimensions come from?

They are organized from Google’s public Veo prompting guidance: subject, action, scene, camera, style, ambience and lighting, audio, dialogue, and timing. This independent tool is not affiliated with Google.
